Silver-Rose Duo, the critically acclaimed Chicago-based classical flute and guitar ensemble, specializes in engaging and educational performances, featuring music from the standard repertoire as well as their own arrangements, new music and works from around the globe.
Virtuosic performers, Kim Fleuchaus and Julie Goldberg present themed programs that educate, uplift and delight their audiences.

History
Silver-Rose Duo, the critically acclaimed Chicago-based classical flute and guitar ensemble, specializes in engaging and educational performances, featuring music from the standard repertoire as well as new music, and works from around the globe. Kim and Julie began their duo while pursuing music degrees at Northwestern University. Each have gone on to earn success and honors as soloists and chamber musicians.
In 2017 Kim and Julie happy reconnected, formed the Silver-Rose Duo and have been actively concertizing ever since. Silver-Rose duo has presented programs for Illinois Libraries, Midwest Concert Series, and Senior Centers. During the pandemic SLD presented online and streaming concerts reaching nation-wide audiences.

Silver-Rose duo is committed to bringing quality, engaging, educational performances to audiences of all ages and backgrounds, even those not familiar with classical music. Presenting thoughtfully curated themed programming, Kim and Julie combine virtuosic chamber music performances with insightful commentary, providing a directed listening experience that enhances the musical, educational and emotional impact of each performance.
