Seth Pae is a multi-instrumentalist and composer based in the Chicago area.

As a pianist and singer, he performs high-energy Dueling Pianos and Solo shows in clubs across Chicago.

As a composer and arranger, he works with singer-songwriters, arranges for both small and large ensembles of all levels, and writes his own original music.

History

As a violist, for the past 6-8 years, I've been a part of the Chicago classical music scene as an orchestral player, chamber musician, composer, arranger and curator. I'm currently the Assistant Principal Viola of the Chicago Sinfonietta. I formerly played for the Civic Orchestra of chicago, and held Project Inclusion Fellowships with the Chicago Sinfonietta and the Grant Park Music Festival. 

Artistic Vision

As an artist I often use my platform to share music, stories, ideas and visions from traditionally underserved artistic communities. I actively seek out artistic collaborations and partnerships that combine styles and genres. I believe my art is a powerful tool which can bring people together.
