The well re hearsed precision and level of energy is spectacular and will leave you astounded by the driving force, the contemporary blues, and the soulful ballads of Michael Charles.

Key To The Highway 6:40 Recorded Fall 2021  Although the majority of Michael's performances are original contemporary blues this song is one of the beloved covers he does.  This was the first video filmed after the pandemic to announce we are   getting back on the road.  

Cover Tunes   8/2019   4:55   Cover Tunes is an original song written to pay homage to the cover tunes Michael performs.  This song was released in 5 part CD single series and is an official music video for the Michael Charles "All I Really Know from A to Z" documentary on the life  and musical career  of Michael Charles.

All I Really Know  2018  3:32  The  title track for the 2018 documentary produced by renowned Australian film producer Salik Silverstein.    "All I Really Know from A to Z" seen in small theaters, PBS, and public access stations including several airings on Chicago's CAN TV.

My work samples I feel embodies the seriousness of my craft performing a song I wrote in my studio, my humbleness towards the great artists who I cherish, and part of my touring life.   

History

Michael Charles and His Bands have been recording and touring for the last 39 years.  Michael's discography holds 39 releases and he tours annually across the USA, Canada, and Australia.

Artistic Vision

The main goal of and artistic vision of my work is to create music from within myself that people can listen to, enjoy, get excited about, relate to, help, and make them smile.
