Glenn Wilson has been a professional jazz saxophonist for more than 50 years. He has toured and recorded with many top jazz musicians, including Buddy Rich, Lionel Hampton, Tito Puente, Tony Bennet, Lady Gaga, Bruce Hornsby and dozens more Glenn has recorded 14 albums as a leader and he has featured in major jazz magazines over the decades. A dedicated jazz educator, Wilson has a Masters in Jazz Performance and taught at the University of Illinois CU and most recently was Jazz Director at Illinois Wesleyan University for the past 6 years.
Wilson’s non-profit, Further Jazz, Inc. produces jazz events in Illinois and beyond and is dedicated to fostering, promoting and advancing greater knowledge, understanding and appreciation of jazz music. Glenn can be reached at www.jazzmaniac.com

History
I've been a professional jazz saxophonist for 50 years. I lived in NYC from 1977-1991 and played and toured with Buddy Rich, Lionel Hampton and scores of jazz and latin-jazz bands. I've recorded 14 albums and have been featured as a sideman on dozens of others. My 501C3 Further Jazz, Inc. produces jazz concerts. workshops and a jazz film series. I have a Masters in Jazz Performance and taught in the jazz department at University of Illinois for 9 years and have been Jazz Director at Illinois Wesleyan University fort the past 6 years. I am retired now and have time to tour!!!
