Work Sample

This video demonstrates my use of looping in my solo guitar performances. I create solo guitar loops in real time in my shows creating a large ensemble sound highlighting the broad range of a single guitar.

This is a music video from my album Yoguitar, Vol.1. This style of cinematic acoustic music is a major part of my sound and style.

In addition to solo instrumental guitar I also sing arrangements of my favorite tunes from Bruce Hornsby and Eric Clapton to John Mayer and The Beatles.

I love layering guitar parts. The Wicked Game and the Yoguitar videos highlight my use of looping and interweaving guitar parts.

History

I have been a full-time musician and composer for 25 years. I studied jazz at DePaul University and began my career as a bass player. I gravitated back to the guitar which I have played most of my life. I released my debut solo acoustic guitar album Yoguitar, Vol.1 in 2016. I split my musical life between performing and composing. I have composed music for the Oprah Winfrey show, Nike, Allstate, documentaries, tv and film. I co-wrote two top ten charting contemporary jazz songs. I toured for two years with the Jersey Boys national tour.
Currently, I am focused on my solo acoustic guitar work.

Artistic Vision

I love film music. I approach my solo guitar work from a cinematic perspective both sonically and compositionally. I want to create beautiful musical experiences for people using my pallet of colors I've acquired through the years.
