Work Sample
"The Cowboy Show" (a yodeling, trick-roping vaudeville cowboy act) - A two minute video containing video clips and photographs from performances in Illinois and around the United States over a musical bed containing my yodeling cowboy recording of "Back in the Saddle Again."
The video I've submitted is focused on my children's presentation of cowboy music and trick roping.

Artistic Vision
I've been performing professionally for five decades, and I'll bring an extensive catalogue of hillbilly blues, vaudeville, minstrel, western swing, and yodeling cowboy songs all from 1860's to the mid 20th century.
Programs for Specific Audience(s) Expertise
I've performed professionally at countless libraries, schools, universities, churches, museums, conventions, festivals, night clubs, and theaters in the USA and overseas for general audiences, children's audiences, disabled audiences, and any other audience expecting family friendly fare for over 50 years.
Traditional Folk/Ethnic Artform Statement
I perform western swing and folk music endemic to Texas and the southwest at venues all over the United States. I grew up in Texas on a farm and ranch, singing traditional rural music of all kinds with my family and friends.
Presently I present my original, thirty song catalogue of Civil War era music at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum on four period-styled instruments with historical narration (to provide context) twice weekly.
