"Wisdom" 3:29 - written by: Amy Lowe "“ performed, Live at Reggies - Chicago: Amy Lowe & Kingkatz.
This song was inspired by the African Folktale " Anansi and The Pot of Wisdom "“ Teaching tale for school age children.
I've also included "Chicago's a Boomtown"- 1:59 written by: Amy Lowe. This song is part of an original, fast paced - fact based - award winning school assembly program entitled - Fire in Boomtown. It is the story of the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, brought to life through story and song. The show was recorded live at the Theater of Western Springs, Western Springs, Illinois.
The third video, "Hello, Bonjour, Hola" written by: Amy Lowe is 2:43. I am a Ravinia Festival - Music Discovery Program Teaching Artist. This is an original song I wrote that several of the other Ravinia - Music Discovery Teaching Artists also include in their residency programs.

My journey as an artist reflects my beliefs. There is always potential for inspiration.
The song I composed entitled: "Wisdom," sums up the essence of the African folktale " Anansi and the Pot of Wisdom," that everyone, everywhere has a little bit of wisdom.
" Hello, Bonjour, Hola," was inspired by a challenging group of kindergartners. The creation of the song was my attempt to engage them. It worked, I was successful and the song lives on. https://youtu.be/DQuLLmSfBuM - Hello
"Chicago's Boomtown," was inspired by the the events that lead up to the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. https://music.apple.com/us/album/fire-in-boomtown/918653252
