I grew up in the Midwest. My music reflects where I came from and settled. I have written songs that appear on film, television and radio domestically and internationally. I am endorsed by Fred Kelly picks and love to smile through all of my Americana/country performances.

The work samples are good representations of the style of music i perform and write, whether I am booked as a solo artist or with my blue-grassy band.

History

I have been performing professionally since high school. I had the opportunities to open for national country acts then and after living in Nashville as a songwriter. Some of my favorite gigs included opening for Florida Georgia Line, Johnny Lee and Aaron Tippin. I performed weekly in Nashville when living there and returned home to play local shows in and around Springfield while booking shows on the west coast each fall for a time.

Artistic Vision

I play the guitar and sing. I hope to “happy” those I perform in front of with a mix of familiar classic country and songs that I write inspired by my life.

Programs for Specific Audience(s) Expertise

In the past I have used my music education in music therapy (no longer board certified) to create music and movement programs for preschoolers, demonstrate at corporate wellness events and most recently have used my songwriting skills to write songs for  toddler story times and prepare programming for that population online during the pandemic on my own and contracted by the Illinois State Museum.
